The procession starts from the Rajasthan tourism's Hotel Shikhar and ends at the Nakki Lake Chowk. Many local people and travelers clad in the colorful traditional attires participate in the processions.

By Air-route:The nearest airport is Udaipur, which is located about 185 km away from Mount Abu. There are direct flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur.

By Rail-route:Abu Road, 28 km from the main city is the nearest railway station. It is very well connected by Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mumbai and Jodhpur.

By Road: The city of Mount Abu is very well connected to all the major cities of India. One can take the luxury buses run by the Rajasthan tourism to reach here.
