Rambagh Palace Jaipur

Built in the year 1835, Rambagh Palace presents its guests the story of love and valor of the Rajputs who once ruled this state. The chief architect of this magnificent building was the Queen's favorite chambermaid Kesar Badaran. In the beginning it was the resident of the Maharaja of Jaipur Sawai Man Singh. With the passage of time many renovating works were carried out in this palace, giving it a new look while maintaining its old charm. In the year 1957, it was converted into a five star hotel and finally in 1972 Taj hotels took it over.
