Jain Temple-RanakpurRanakpur on one hand is located 96km from Udaipur and on the other 39km from Palna Junction on the Ajmer and Mount Abu rail and road tracks. The drive to Ranakpur is both relaxing and pleasant as the place is blessed with lush green hills, multitude of flora and fauna, quiet and serene surroundings with very little traffic. As one drives along the peaceful roads, one can relish the overwhelming sights and senery here.

It is notable that Ranakpur is considered as one of the five holy places of the Jain community. On your Ranakpur you will find the most revered Jain temple dedicated to Rashabhji. The temple also houses an idol of Adinath and is spread over an area of approximately 48.000sq. ft. This ancient temple owns 29 halls and 1444 pillars, where each pillar has been intricately carved with distinctive patterns.

Ghanerao
Ghanerao holds within its confines both the Jain and Hindu temples where the most notable is the temple of Gajanand featuring a life-size statue of the goddesses Ridhi and Sidhi. The statue is guarded by Hanuman and Bhairon on either side.


Ranakpur Temples
These beautiful Jain temples are fine examples of temple architecture. Close to these temples are Kankroli Rajsamand which are known for their scenic beauty.

The outstanding feature of the temple is the statue of Lord Mahavira with a mustache and is situated around 5 km from Ghanerao in the Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary. An important feature of temple decoration are the two statues of elephants guarding the entrance of the temple. If one has some time one can visit the Garasia tribal villages which are known for their colorful costumes.

Sadri this place is renowned for some elaborately designed temples and an old Dargah of Khudabaksh Baba and is at a diatan eof 8 km from Ranakpur. The two of the most visited and the oldest temples located here are the Varahavtar and the Chintamani Parsvanath temple.
